The Child Abuse Summit: Tips from the Team is designed to provide medical and professionals from all disciplines with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to properly identify and respond to all types of child and family maltreatment including physical abuse, sexual abuse, and/or neglect. These professionals will have the opportunity to learn about child and family maltreatment within the context of a multidisciplinary team response. Child Abuse Summit: Tips from the Team will increase providers’ and professionals’ comfort level in identifying and treating cases of child and family maltreatment as well as in the multidisciplinary response from investigation through prosecution.
