This CWLA webinar will focus on the emerging issue of the use of medical marijuana with children and adolescents. As more states move to allow the use of medical marijuana for a variety of illnesses there is a growing number that are allowing its use not just with adults but also children and adolescents. This growing trend raises many questions about the safety of its use, its effectiveness, and the long term consequences as well as practice and policy questions for child welfare. CWLA will present information from its most recent CWLA National Blueprint Issue Brief #1 on this topic.
