2012 Ray E. Helfer Society Annual Meeting

March 25-28, 2012 Lakeway Resort & Spa Austin, Texas

Dear Helfer Member,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Ray E. Helfer Society. This year the meeting will be held in Austin, Texas. The 2012 Annual Meeting runs from Sunday, March 25, through Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Lakeway Resort and Spa.

Again this year is the Scholar Committee Pre-Conference. The Scholar Committee is sponsoring a half-day Pre-Conference and a job fair. The Pre-Conference will be held on Sunday March 25 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This meeting is open to all Helfer Members and there is no additional registration fee.

Helfer Members,

We are proud to announce the program for the 2012 Helfer Society Meeting. The meeting will be held 25-28 March at the Lakeway Resort outside of Austin Texas.

We are also planning some outings for Tuesday, 27 March. Ken Feldman has identified a kayak expedition to the Congress Avenue bridge, at sunset, when thousands of bats fly out in an impressive display. Ken has sent out details to the list previously.
We are also looking at a group visit to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center for Tuesday afternoon. If there is interest, we may organize group transport. Look for details from Dee Dee Bandy soon.

We are rapidly filling up our reserved hotel block. Please think about registering soon, at the new Helfer web site, and reserving your room at the Lakeway Resort Hotel.
